1 Hotel Paris, France
Far from your average hotel, 1 Hotel Paris functions as the ‘green lung’ of the Paris Rive Gauche district with sustainability and innovation at the heart of this project by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. Located on the left bank of the Seine River, the building – which is more like a surreal sculptural form – is distinct with its wooden panels, abundant terraces and lush greenery. Described as luxury eco, the hotel comprises 140 rooms, a rooftop restaurant, co-working space and a pool. A surprising aspect of the building is its ability to transform as the light shifts throughout the day and the intimate public garden within the centre of the complex.
Cosme Hotel, Kanava Hotels & Resort, Greece
Scheduled to open in May, Cosme Hotel is Kanava Hotels & Resorts’ latest project on the island of Paros, featuring 40 luxurious suites, a spectacular pool overlooking the Aegean Sea as well as outdoor wellness and fitness facilities. Six Senses Loire Valley, France
Six Senses has a knack for discovering unusual locations in which to deliver outstanding experiences for its guests and Six Senses Loire Valley is no exception. Expected to launch in May, the resort is nestled in the heart of the Loire Valley, in the village of Saint-Laurent-Nouan, renowned for its untamed landscape, medieval towns and world-class wines. Surprisingly, this enchanting location can be reached in about 90 minutes by car from Paris.
Set within the Les Bordes Estate, featuring one of the world’s most reputable golf clubs, guests will be met with a beautifully maintained chateau and woodlands, which are home to the resort’s 88 suites and villas built close to waterways, giving the impression of a private home while receiving all the luxuries of an exclusive resort.
