When Montblanc, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Ferretti Yachts and Riva come together on a luxurious superyacht in the heart of Sydney, Australia, you know you’re in for an incredible evening.
In celebration of the spectacular launch of Riva 50 Metri Superyacht Race in Venice earlier this year, friends of Ray White Marine and The CEO Magazine gathered to enjoy a night of culinary expertise and entertainment on board Starship Aqua.
Guests were greeted by a stunning Rolls-Royce Dawn drop-top before making their way on board to enjoy a Pampelle spritz.
While sipping on a choice of The Dalmore or glass of Signor Vino red, white or prosecco, the intimate group perused Montblanc leather goods, writing instruments and its latest timepiece collection as well as Calleija’s stunning argyle pink diamond jewellery.
Calleija’s display of jewels glittered across five cabinets, with everything from its eye-catching primavera yellow gold coloured gemstone cuff and the regal 18-carat white gold and white diamond art deco drop earrings, to the jeweller’s coronet white gold and white diamond bangle, which is part of the Zara Phillips Collection.
Later in the evening, everyone sat down to a brass candelabra-lined long table to enjoy a bespoke three-course culinary experience. Between courses, String Sirens – an all-female string team who have performed with the likes of Kanye West, Sam Smith, John Farnham and Michael Bublé – played throughout the night.
The luxurious evening may not have been as breathtaking as the premier of Race in Italy, which included a spectacular pyrotechnics display, but guests still had a taste of what life could be like on board the 50 Metri superyacht. A quaint model of the vessel was on display as the inner-city skyline sparkled in the distance.
The opulent event, whose partners included Camper & Nicholsons International, TechnoHull, GCCM, Aurora, Signor Vino and Rivermead Estate, was held at the Sydney International Boat Show.
