With the world’s travel options put on hold and major airlines limiting their offerings, there’s no better time to invest in some of the world’s finest private aircrafts. One of those names is Textron Aviation, the American aircraft manufacturer responsible for ushering in the new era of the iconic King Air turboprop family.
Their latest shiny aircraft comes in the form of the Beechcraft King Air 360, an updated flagship turboprop, which now comes with the latest cockpit enhancements to reduce pilot workload alongside a redesigned bespoke cabin to enhance comfort, aesthetics and practicality to impressive new heights.
Inside an impeccable new cabin
The latest King Air model is now equipped with seating for up to nine passengers for an even greater flying experience than its predecessor. Owners can choose from an option of six new interior schemes including Lava Saddle, Latte, New Pewter, Alpaca, Butter Cream and King Ranch.
These art-inspired options are further flanked by a bespoke cabin design that features custom-built cabinetry, partitions and side ledges with upgraded materials and finishes. On the functionality side, business flyers will appreciate the standard amenities such as pull-out work tables, standard power outlets, USB charging stations and a private aft lavatory.
If passengers intend to conduct business on the flight, they’ll also be glad to know that the King Air 360 now affords a cabin altitude of 5,960 feet at a typical cruising altitude of 27,000 feet – more than 10% lower when compared to the King Air 350i. This improved cabin altitude levels means greater comfort for passengers, especially during longer flights.
“We created an environment that provides passengers with a greater sense of openness inside the King Air,” said Christi Tannahill, Senior Vice President Customer Experience, Textron Aviation.
“The cabin experience is such a critical element when choosing an aircraft, and it was important for us to surpass customer expectations. Their journey will not only be comfortable, but also a relaxing, enjoyable experience. The Beechcraft King Air 360 offers many of the amenities that our customers desire.”
Improved cockpit for improved comfort
While much of the flying instrument enhancements are catered to making the pilots’ jobs easier, one new update in the King Air 360 actually attributes to passenger comfort. The latest digital pressurisation controller can automatically schedule cabin pressurisation during both climb and descent. This reduces pilot workload and increases overall passenger comfort throughout the aircraft’s flight duration.
An unwavering reputation in the sky
There’s no denying the King Air leadership in the skies. Almost 7,600 Beechcraft King Air turboprops have been delivered to customers around the world since 1964. This makes it the bestselling business turboprop family worldwide. The worldwide fleet has surpassed 62 million flight hours in its 56 years alone, serving roles in all branches of the US military and flying both commercial and special mission roles around the world.
Passengers can now rest assured that their next vital journey is one of the world’s safest.
