An industry super fund dedicated to people working in Australias higher education and research sector, UniSuper has developed significantly over the past five years under the expert leadership of CEO Terry McCredden. On 1 July 2013, Terry stepped down from the post and his successor, Kevin OSullivan, assumed the role.
While Terry is now officially retired, he still has a number or projects and roles on his plate. During a short transition period, Terry helped Kevin assimilate into his new role. Before assuming the CEO position at UniSuper, Kevin was director of actuarial and benefit consulting at Russell Investments.
Kevin boasts more than 30 years of experience in the superannuation and actuarial fields, both in Australia and internationally. Of those 30 years, 22 were with Russell Investments. He brings a wealth of knowledge about investments and administration operations to UniSuper.
Chairman Chris Cuffe recently stated that the board was very impressed with Kevins breadth of experience. This knowledge and expertise will help Kevin to retain and nurture the incredible growth UniSuper has seen under the care of Terry.
