How will you be tuning in to the 2020 Executive of the Year Awards? With our impressive list of finalists announced on 10 September and our judging panel working quietly behind the scenes to determine our list of winners, now is the time to plan what you’ll do on the evening of 12 November 2020 when the virtual awards ceremony takes place.
This year things will look a little different.
We can’t wine and dine you in one of Australia’s top event venues or thrill you with the glitz and glamour of world-class entertainment like we have in the past. However, one thing we can guarantee is that the night will be as special as ever, because when it comes to celebrating the country’s leading executives, The CEO Magazine doesn’t hold back.
From 5pm on 12 November, the virtual awards ceremony will kick off. The link to stream the event will be shared with finalists, judges and other interested parties ahead of time to ensure as many people as possible can tune in. It promises to be a high-quality production with inspiring video messages from Maserati’s Glen Sealey and the 2019 CEO of the Year winner, David Hackett.
The CEO Magazine Founder Chris Dutton, who is the brainchild behind the Executive of the Year Awards, will host the event, announcing the finalists and the winners from each category, including the pinnacle CEO of the Year Award.
What plans will you make for the virtual 2020 Executive of the Year Awards ceremony on 12 November?
Some of our finalists will invite their teams to stay back in the office after work for a socially distanced soiree, while others will pop a bottle of Champagne and virtually toast Australia’s business community from the comfort of their couch.
Perhaps you’d rather share the link with your network of colleagues, friends and family to watch in unison from different locations, or choose to invite a small selection of people over to enjoy a fine-dining supper, courtesy of a private chef, post-ceremony.
Whatever you decide to do, we’ll play our part in ensuring that the country’s business community is celebrated, honoured and recognised.
It’s been a tough year for most with the country deep in the grips of the COVID-19 pandemic, so we are making it our mission to end 2020 on a high. We hope to see you at the virtual awards ceremony on 12 November 2020.
The Executive of the Year Awards will return in 2021 as a black-tie event, hosted at The Star, Sydney in November. We’d like to thank Maserati for returning as our major sponsor for the virtual 2020 event.
