Sascha Haselmayer is an author and social entrepreneur who has led urban innovation, economic development and government innovation projects in over 50 countries. He is an Ashoka Fellow, a non-resident Fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and a former Fellow at New America. Among other ventures, Sascha founded Citymart, pioneering innovation in city procurement in global cities. He is a senior leader at Ashoka in Germany. He lives in Berlin and has recently published ‘The Slow Lane: Why Quick Fixes Fail and How To Achieve Real Change’.
