Australian entrepreneur, Linda Simonsen brings over 20 years’ experience in recruitment, human resources, organisational psychology, emotional intelligence and leadership to her role as CEO of FuturePeople; a company she founded in 2002.
FuturePeople is leading the way in driving customer engagement, advocacy and higher business performance, and reflects Linda’s mission is to unite employee engagement initiatives with emotional intelligence. She is passionate about reducing employee attrition and maximising retention, and is a champion for ‘engagement’ to be on the national agenda as a way to address Australia’s productivity imperative.
Linda has encouraged conversations at the very top of leading companies. Her focus is ‘Heartonomics’—the opportunities that an emotionally intelligent and highly-engaged workforce offer, including customer loyalty, advocacy and the bottom line.
Linda is a regular speaker on these topics at contact centre industry events and corporate conferences, including the the 2015 Chief Strategy Officer’s Summit, 2013 Suncorp Leaders Conference, 2013 Comminsure Leaders Workshop, 2012 AMP leaders Conference, and the 2010 Westpac ANZ Contact Centre Leaders Conference. Linda has also spoken at various events hosted by the ATA, the peak national body for the contact centre industry, and been a judge at the ATA’s National Contact Centre Annual Awards.
