A passionate writer, editor, and driver, Karl Peskett is the go-to man when it comes to automotive information. With a background in print, he has been researching and writing about cars for years, and frequently travels across the globe to test-drive new vehicles.
Karl’s love affair with cars began in his father’s shed where, at a very young age, he helped to rebuild and restore a Bathurst favourite, the Holden LJ GTR XU-1. He has since spent much of his time in sheds, building experience and a solid mechanical knowledge through restoring the Ford XY and XA GT, Chrysler Valiant Charger, HK Monaro and other race-bred classics.
Shortly after getting his licence, Karl became involved with local motorsport, and a few years later he was asked to travel to Sydney to begin work experience with Wheels Magazine.
Having spent time in video, radio and online, Karl brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, and always provides a unique point of view. With his sense of humour and ability to conduct deep and technical analyses, Karl is a man who tells it like he sees it.
